What is Supercar Switch?
Supercar Switch offers exclusive small-group luxury driving tours across Europe, combining the excitement of supercars with five-star accommodation and first-class hospitality. Each guest has the unique opportunity to drive and experience a different supercar every day – a concept that sets us apart from traditional tours.
How many people join each tour?
Each tour is limited to five cars (ten guests) plus our lead car, ensuring a personal, relaxed, and well-managed experience on the road.
Where do the tours take place?
Our flagship route includes the Italian Lakes, the Dolomites, and the Swiss Alps – with future tours planned for the Scottish Highlands, the South of France, and beyond.
What cars will I drive?
Our fleet features a rotating mix of world-class performance cars which we cater to you – examples include the Ferrari 296 GTS, Lamborghini Huracán, McLaren 720S, Porsche 911 Turbo, and Aston Martin DB11. Cars may vary by tour and availability, but every lineup is hand-selected to deliver variety and excitement.
How does the car rotation work?
Each couple is assigned a different car every day. At the start of each day, keys are switched, giving every guest the opportunity to drive and experience multiple supercars across the tour.
Can anyone drive the cars?
To drive, you must be 21 years or older and no older than 70, hold a full valid driving licence, and have at least three years of driving experience. Additional requirements may apply depending on the tour.
Are the cars insured?
Yes. All vehicles are fully insured through our trusted partners, with coverage for European driving. A security deposit is required and held against each vehicle for the duration of the tour.
Do I need to provide a deposit?
Yes. Each driver must provide a refundable security deposit when collecting their allocated car. The amount varies depending on the vehicles on the tour but typically ranges between €10,000–€15,000.
What happens if a car is damaged?
In the unlikely event of damage, the deposit may be used to cover the insurance excess. The cars are monitored on a daily basis by our team to ensure fairness and transparency. We work closely with our partners to ensure clear terms, and full details are provided before booking.
What’s included in the price?
Our tours are all-inclusive: luxury accommodation, breakfast and evening dining, vehicle hire, insurance, fuel, route planning, and on-tour support. Photography, luggage transfers, and select experiences are also included.
What isn’t included?
Flights to and from the tour start and end locations, personal travel insurance and lunchtime dining are not included unless stated otherwise.
Can I bring a passenger?
Absolutely. Each booking is based on two people sharing one car and one room. Passengers can also share the driving if they meet the driver eligibility criteria.
What’s a typical driving day like?
Each day involves around 3–4 hours of driving, split between scenic stretches and world-class mountain passes. We stop regularly for photo opportunities, coffee breaks, and sightseeing, arriving at our next hotel mid-afternoon for time to relax before dinner.
Will there be a lead car?
Yes – our tour director and support guide drive the lead car, navigating the route and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the road.
Do we drive in convoy?
Yes, though at a relaxed and enjoyable pace. The focus is on enjoying the roads, not racing. We maintain safe distances and regroup regularly throughout the day.
How much does a tour cost?
Pricing varies depending on the destination and season. Our flagship European tour starts from £6,995 per person (£13,990) per couple).
How do I book?
Simply enquire through our website or contact our team directly. Once your place is confirmed, a deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due closer to the tour date.
When should I book?
We recommend booking early, as spaces are extremely limited and tours often sell out months in advance.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes – our cancellation and refund policy is detailed in our Terms & Conditions. In most cases, deposits are refundable up to a certain point before departure.
What should I pack?
We recommend smart-casual attire for dinners, comfortable driving clothes, and suitable footwear. Luggage space in supercars is limited, so we handle luggage transfers between hotels for your convenience.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes, all participants must hold valid travel insurance covering driving activities abroad.
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes – transfers between the arrival airport and the first hotel, and from the final hotel to the airport, are included in most tours.
Are meals included?
Breakfast and evening dining are included throughout, typically at the hotels’ five-star restaurants or select partner venues.
Are non-drivers welcome?
Yes, non-drivers are more than welcome to join and enjoy the journey, scenery, and hospitality.
Will photos and videos be provided?
Yes, each tour includes professional photography and video highlights so you can relive the experience after returning home.
How fit or experienced do I need to be?
No specialist fitness or training is required – just enthusiasm for driving and a sense of adventure.
